FLYING FASCINATION
Flying is simply fascinating.This fascination lives through pictures made from those
magnificent machines that enable people to fly. Shots out of the cockpit will be a

The
Discus-2 flies! On April 3rd Schempp-Hirth's standard-class machine took off for it's
successful maiden flight. The follower of the Discus(-1) produced since 1984 is a
completely new development.
Even
small aircraft can produce strong vortices. The photo was shot during experiments, which
NASA ran to investigate this phenomena.
This
Stinson 108 Voyager is a real beauty. David Cheney in the United States put a lot of work
into this veteran to keep it alive.
The
Edgley EA9 Optimist is a glider for hoemebuilders. At first glance it looks like a
Schleicher ASK 18. The Optimist kit is manufactured by Edgley Sailplanes Limited in Great
Britain.
